She Wouldn’t Take Off Her Boots shows one woman’s determination to sculpt the first Holocaust Memorial in North Carolina commemorating women and children. The film shows her motivation and drive, and the stories of survivors of the Holocaust.

The film showcases two local stories of survivors: one is of a boy who survived multiple concentration camps and the other is of two cousins hidden during the war by their courageous mothers. The monument is named in their honor.
